The terms and conditions that apply to La Mochila and students are set out below.
About the classes
La Mochila is run my me, Mayra Camacho. As a private tutor who is so passionate about her job, constant feedback and communication is key to establish relationships with my students. So, to begin with, I would like to know about your preferences, interests, goals and expectations towards the class. Feel free to reach out to me prior your first lesson and share your thoughts and questions about the classes. Contact details are listed at the bottom of this page. Your teacher always loves hearing from her students. Memes and jokes are always welcome, as well!
How to book a class? Reach out to your tutor via WhatsApp, SMS or email and discuss dates/times suitable for both of you. Most students love keeping a regular schedule (and so do I!), however, I’m always happy to accommodate your availability if it ever changes.
Also, it is important to make sure the fees are paid at least 24 hours prior the first lesson of the term. We have a 10 lesson pack available to be purchased, so you can take the hassle of making weekly payments out of your way. This will also allow you to book all the classes of the term, if you feel more comfortable, and like to plan your schedule ahead.
If you are unable to attend a lesson 24 hours before the scheduled class, please let your tutor know as soon as you can, so that we have the chance to reschedule it (if possible). Being consistent with your classes will be key to guaranteeing better results in in your learning process, so we will try to avoid skipping classes as much as we can.
If you cancel any class less than 24 hours prior the scheduled time, a full fee for that lesson will be deducted due to short notice. Exceptions under extreme circumstances can be made upon discussion with your teacher.
Class materials
Your teacher excels at working with online teaching resources, so she will give you access to a broad range of materials such as worksheets, videos, games, websites, blogs and much more, all of that included in your fees.
Having a textbook is not essential, but strongly desirable. If you wish to buy one, ask your teacher and she will help you pick up the one according to your level.

10 lesson pack for niños only: $480
